“I still remember the moment I realized I wanted to be a Chiropractor, after running from what was in front of me all along, I remember where I was, the feeling, everything about it,” the moment was surreal, as she recalls. Since then, she discovered her own passion for helping people reach true wellness outside of her fathers influence, outside of the influence of medication, etc. With this degree, she contemplated working in big pharma and chasing her love for chemistry it wasn’t until she took a step back and realized the life she was choosing that she frantically called her dad seeking his advice. Evana went to DePaul University and got a bachelors degree in Chemistry with a minor in public health. Evana ran cross country competitively for 7 years and is now an avid rock climber she decided when she graduated high school early to use that time to become a personal trainer at the age of 17. Not only is her father a chiropractor, but her older brother and aunt decided to join the profession as well! Growing up, these philosophies were applied to her everyday life, sports, and general health and wellness. From the earliest she can remember, Chiropractic philosophy has been a part of her life with her Dad being a practicing Chiropractor for 42 years now. Evana Makhoul is from Detroit, Michigan originally and moved to Chicago, Illinois at the age of 17 to pursue her dream of living on her own in a big city. Upon graduating with a Doctorate of Chiropractic, she packed up, moved to Northeast Tennessee and worked there for almost 5 years before relocating to the Chattanooga area.ĭr. Molly went to the University of Northern Iowa for her Bachelor’s Degree before ending up at the founding place of Chiropractic Palmer College in Davenport, IA. Soon after, she was referred to a chiropractor for an injured ankle, and hasn’t had an ear infection since! Dr. During her childhood, she had over 15 ear surgeries prior to her 16th birthday due to chronic ear infections.
